Workplace Bullies, Gritty TV Shows, Men Putting Their Foot in Their Mouth, Too Hot “After Dark” Posts and a whole lot more!
July 22, 2024: With this the week being vacation, I thought I would revisit our top posts from the year 2023, with 25 of them each day. Enjoy!
What better way to celebrate the past year than to review our most popular posts from 2023?
It was the year we said goodbye to Lisa Marie Presley, Tina Turner, Matthew Perry, Suzanne Somers, Ryan O’Neal, Frances Sternhagen, Cindy Williams, Jim Brown, Rosalynn Carter, Tony Bennett, Raquel Welch, Bob Barker, Burt Bacharach, and Jimmy Buffett.

Upon reflection, my “Daily Prompts” which are personal stories and thoughts resonated most with my readers this year (if you want to check those out, look for the RED numbers).
It was the year King Charles succeeded Queen Elizabeth II to the British throne, Turkey and Syria were hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 59k people, the FBI officially confirmed they believed COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan lab, vinyl records exceeded sales of compact discs, AI was everywhere, the Titan submersible imploded on an expedition to the wreck of Titanic, Israel declared war on Hamas after a surprise attack that killed more than 1,000 people. It was also the year actor Jeremy Renner broke more than 30 bones after being run over by a snowplow, the US Speaker of the House was up in the air for quite some time, “Barbie” ruled the still-not-recovered box office, and the Kansas City Chiefs came out on top over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII (Rhianna performed at the half-time show).
With those events in mind, travel back in time with us this week as we unveil and revisit our Top 100 posts of the past twelve months!
So, there you have it! The first segment in our Top 100 Countdown for 2023!
If you’ve enjoyed this first installment of our annual countdown, please take a moment to SHARE IT WITH A FRIEND and help us grow our readership in the new year! Be sure to come back tomorrow when we reveal posts 75-51.
Lastly, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for visiting the site this year and in the past. Your continued interest (in what interests us) is much appreciated. Wishing you a Happy New Year and the best in 2024!
