Sure, we’re all programmed from the time we are young to know that too much candy and sweets are bad for you (even though Grandma and Grandpa had the biggest stash waiting for you when you visited on weekends and summers).
If you take the time to search for the word “sugar” on this website, you’ll find many articles dedicated to eliminating, detoxing, reducing, avoiding, and in general pretending sugar was never discovered. But ALSO on this website, you’ll find recipes for cheesecake (just earlier this week!), cookies, cake; articles on Halloween candy and Lifesavers. Like most humans, I tend to be a walking contradiction. I very much enjoy sugar, but also recognize the negative impact it can have on my health.
