INTRODUCING THE WEEKEND DIGEST – ISSUE #1

Sometimes on weekends, after a full week of work, the last thing I want to do is to log into a computer and do more work. Even if the reason for it gives me great satisfaction, I oftentimes would rather ease into the day with breakfast and a good book.

Coinciding with that thought process are the moments when a new idea strikes me for Moteventure. Perhaps it’s spotlighting my newest subscribers, pulling in great information on a specific topic or theme, or simply responding to a prompt for the day.

With only a short window of time to grab potential readers’ attention, the concept of a weekend digest of my personal favorite stories came to mind last night. With at minimum 50 options to choose from the week, I included those that are most topical (Super Bowl and Bonnie Raitt), most interesting (the inspirational story of little Leo), and the most helpful and informative (10 things I bought on Amazon and Removing every Stain), sprinkling in a bit of self-promotion (Relentless, the Online Store, Moteventure Reactions) to create our first Moteventure Weekend Digest.
