Anyone who knows me personally knows my ultimate guilty pleasure is English/Australian icon Olivia Newton-John. Just a few moments ago, a colleague sent me a text to say they were sorry to hear about Olivia. I instantly knew. I had seen her personal video messages the past few months on social media. It was the first time she looked frail to me. I didn’t want to think her recent absence was indicative of more serious health issues, but deep down, I knew that was the case.
Rather than just do a quick post about this underappreciated legend, I want to acknowledge the event today, and plan to post a worthy tribute soon. Pop Star…Movie Star…Environmentalist…Cancer Thriver…truly gentle and beautiful soul. That is Olivia Newton-John.
