Vertigo Is Here: Favorite Tracks, First Reactions & the Official Lyric Video

Yesterday was a milestone I’ve been working toward for a long time.

After countless hours of writing, recording, refining, and occasionally rethinking everything, Vertigo is finally out in the world.

As an independent artist, release day is always a mixture of excitement, relief, anticipation, and gratitude. These songs have lived in my head, my computer, and my private playlists for months. Now they belong to something bigger: the people listening to them.

First and foremost, thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has streamed the album, shared a link, watched a video, added a song to a playlist, or simply taken the time to listen. Every play, comment, and share means more than you might realize.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that listeners often connect with different songs than the artist expects. Sometimes the lead single becomes the obvious favorite. Other times, an album track quietly develops a passionate following of its own.

That’s why I’m especially curious to hear from you.

Which Track Is Your Favorite?

Now that you’ve had a chance to dive into Vertigo, which song has connected with you the most?

Maybe it’s the energy of the title track.

Maybe you’ve been replaying Miles Away.

Perhaps 1979 has found a permanent place in your playlist.

Or maybe there’s another track on the album that’s become your personal favorite.

I’d love to know what song stood out to you and why. Leave a comment below and join the conversation.

Featured Video: “Vertigo” Official Lyric Video

To celebrate release weekend, today’s spotlight is on the album’s current single, “Vertigo.”

The song captures those moments when life feels exhilarating, overwhelming, and impossible to ignore all at once—an emotional rush, a moment of uncertainty, and a leap into the unknown in a single track. For the video, I wanted a different tone from my earlier ones (like Ordinary Echoes and Paranoid), drawing on the pastel palette of “Vertigo,” inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Me.” I pictured different kinds of couples dancing like no one else was in the room, spinning through cyclone-like transitions that were also simple to create with my video program.

If you’ve already watched the lyric video, let me know:

  • What was your favorite lyric?
  • What does the song mean to you?
  • Which track from Vertigo should be the next single?

Release Day Is Just the Beginning

While the album may have officially launched yesterday, this is really where the journey begins.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing more stories behind the songs, discussing the influences that shaped the album, spotlighting individual tracks, and of course featuring more videos from the project.

For now, I’m simply enjoying seeing Vertigo take its first steps into the world.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Now tell me…

What’s your favorite track on Vertigo so far?
