Feeling dizzy or haunted? Spin the official Moteventure mood wheel featuring 3 versions of Vertigo and 5 versions of the Paranoid EP. Screenshot your fate and join the challenge.
Every October, something strange happens around here.
A shadow slips back into the room. A pulse in the floorboards. A whisper in the hallway. And just like that… Paranoid returns.
But this fall isn’t just haunted. It’s spinning.
If you’ve been following the journey, you know Vertigo is where everything starts to spin into place. It’s that space between balance and chaos — where your heart races, your breath catches, and you’re not sure if you’re spinning out or spinning up. It’s the feeling that connected Avalanche, Obsession, and Euphoria, and kicked off the story of my full album “Vertigo” coming October 30th!
So I had a question:
Are you feeling dizzy or haunted today?
I couldn’t decide. So I built a game to let the wheel decide for me.
Welcome to SPIN THE MOOD
I took all 8 current versions from this era and put them on one wheel:
From VERTIGO — 3 ways to feel the spin:
1. Pop Version — The rush. Bright, urgent, heart-in-your-throat. This is vertigo as euphoria.
2. Country Version — The story. The lyrics front and center. This is vertigo as confession.
3. Gravity’s Pulse Mix — The hypnosis. Beat-driven, late-night, city-lights blurring past your window.
From PARANOID — 5 ways to get haunted:
4. The Monster Mash Mix — I built this to sound like a lost 1963 Halloween 45. Creaking doors, bubbling cauldrons, slapback vocals. Spooky, silly, and theatrical.
5. The Metal Madman Mix — Inspired by the unhinged energy of Ozzy. Guitars that snarl. Drums that pound like the walls are closing in. This is paranoia with teeth.
6. The Shock Sets In Mix — Early-2000s pop-rock punch. Melodic, driving, playlist-ready. Spooky without the theater — perfect for everyday October listening.
7. Ignite the Fire: Original Mix — Where it all started. Bold, melodic, pop-punk pulse. The foundation that turned Paranoid into a Halloween tradition.
8. Ignite the Fire: Afterglow (Acoustic) Mix — Not soft and sad — bright, rhythmic, and bouncy. Proof that an acoustic track can still feel like a haunted campfire jam.
One spin. One mood. One fate.
How To Play
It’s simple:
1. SPIN the wheel below.
2. SCREENSHOT your result.
3. STREAM that specific mix — save it to your library.
4. CREATE with it.
Every slice has its own challenge:
Got Vertigo Pop? Do the 15-second dizzy cam. Spin your phone slowly while the chorus hits.
Country? Storytime. Tell me about a time you felt real-life vertigo — love, change, a leap.
Gravity’s Pulse? Night drive. Film where you’re headed with this on.
Monster Mash? Show me your best vintage monster walk.
Metal Madman? Air guitar. No shame.
Shock Sets In? Duet the chorus. I want to hear you.
Original Mix? Show me what Ignite the Fire era means to you.
Afterglow Acoustic? Fairy lights, campfire, living room jam — make it glow.
Tag me moteventure and use #SpinTheMood so I can find you. I’m reposting my favorites all month and adding them to the official Vertigo Stories playlist. One winner from each slice will get early access to the full Vertigo album before it drops on October 30th!

Why I Made This
Vertigo isn’t about losing control. It’s about choosing the moment anyway.
Still spinning, still reeling,
But now I know exactly what I’m feeling.
Paranoid isn’t just about fear. It’s about how a feeling can return every year like a ghost — in a new costume, a new form, a reimagining.
This game is where those two worlds collide. The dizzy rush and the haunted hallway. The thrill and the chill.
So — what are you?
Are you dizzy? Or haunted?
Spin and tell me.
Save it. Share it. Feel it.
— Jon
P.S. The Paranoid EP (all 5 mixes) is streaming now everywhere. Vertigo — all three versions — hit platforms in late September. Save both and your spin might just be your new obsession.

Hey there — I’m Jon. This is Moteventure, my corner of the internet where music, movies, lists, and life all collide. Glad you’re here.
