Every October, something strange happens around here. A familiar shadow slips back into the room. A pulse in the floorboards. A whisper in the hallway. And just like that… Paranoid returns.
What started last year as a single inspired by the cinematic tension of Thriller has officially evolved into a full‑fledged Halloween tradition — and today, that tradition grows. My brand-new Paranoid EP is out now on all streaming platforms, featuring five distinct versions of the track, each one reimagined through a different lens of fear, fun, nostalgia, and chaos.
This year, I wanted to build something collectible — something that felt like a seasonal artifact. So I went back in time, leaned into the theatrical, and let Paranoid haunt a few different musical universes.
THE MONSTER MASH MIX
To capture the timeless charm of 1960s novelty Halloween singles, I created a campy, retro version that feels like it could’ve been pressed on a vintage 45. Think creaking doors, bubbling cauldrons, slapback vocals, and that unmistakable “haunted house party” vibe. It’s spooky, silly, and intentionally theatrical — the kind of track you’d expect to hear echoing through a costume party in 1963.
THE METAL MADMAN MIX
Inspired by the erratic, unhinged energy of Ozzy Osbourne, this version dives headfirst into heavy metal chaos. It’s melodic, frantic, and intentionally unsettling — a literal embodiment of paranoia. The guitars snarl, the drums pound, and the whole thing feels like the walls are closing in. It’s the wildest version on the EP, and it gives the collection real teeth.
THE SHOCK SETS IN MIX
For listeners who prefer something more accessible, this mix leans into early‑2000s pop rock. Punchy guitars, melodic hooks, and a driving rhythm make this one the most playlist-friendly of the new versions. It’s energetic without being chaotic, spooky without being theatrical — a perfect bridge between the Halloween spirit and everyday listening.
IGNITE THE FIRE: ORIGINAL MIX
Before Paranoid became a seasonal shapeshifter, it lived inside the sonic world of Ignite the Fire — bold, melodic, and driven by the pop‑punk pulse that defined that era of my sound. The Original Mix is the foundation of everything that followed: energetic, urgent, and built around the emotional spark that inspired the song in the first place. It’s the version that introduced listeners to the tension, the unease, and the cinematic edge that would eventually make Paranoid such a natural fit for October.
IGNITE THE FIRE: AFTERGLOW (ACOUSTIC) MIX
Originally released on Ignite the Fire: Afterglow, this acoustic version keeps the spirit of Paranoid lively and upbeat while stripping away the heavier production. Instead of leaning into softness or melancholy, it brings a bright, rhythmic energy that makes the song feel playful and fun — almost like a campfire jam with a pulse. It’s proof that an acoustic mix doesn’t have to be slow or sentimental; it can still move, still bounce, and still carry the same Halloween‑season spark in a totally different way.
A SONG THAT RETURNS LIKE A GHOST
Paranoid was born from the idea of October unease — that creeping feeling that something is just a little off. And now, every year, it comes back in a new form. A ghost. A creature. A remix. A reinvention.
This EP is the next chapter in that tradition.
If you’re ready to step into the haunted world of Paranoid once again, the full EP is streaming everywhere now. Turn off the lights, turn up the volume, and let the shadows in.
Happy Halloween season — let’s get spooky.
