AI Personas vs. Human‑Written Music: Why My Songs Are Not “AI‑Generated”

With Spotify rolling out new labels for AI Personas, I want to make something absolutely clear about the music I create under Moteventure:

I’m not an AI Persona. I’m a human artist who uses modern tools to bring human stories to life.

There’s a big difference.

AI Persona Music

An AI Persona is a fictional artist created entirely by algorithms. The “voice” isn’t human. The “lyrics” aren’t lived. The “story” behind the music is synthetic.

It’s a character—an invention.

That’s me.

I write the lyrics. I build the concepts. I decide the emotion, the arc, the meaning. I live the stories the songs come from.

AI helps with production, arrangement, and sound design—just like synthesizers, drum machines, plugins, and digital workstations have helped artists for decades. The creativity is human. The heart is human. The origin is human.

If you’ve listened to my music, you already know:

• “Ordinary Echoes” was born from revisiting my father’s death in the early 80s decades later—a moment that shaped my life and still echoes through it.
• “Euphoria” came from the exact moment I fell in love with Top 40 radio as a kid, when music felt like electricity and possibility. I still love Giorgio Moroder’s song “Chase” to this day.
• “Obsession” was written from the rush of experiencing real love for the first time in college—the kind that rewires your world.

I have a song called “Seen”, from this fall’s “Vertigo” album, written in the aftermath of what felt like an emotionally devastating work opportunity that fell through. With distance, I realized it was never something I truly wanted, at least not if I had been listening to my heart the way I should have.

These aren’t prompts. They’re memories. They’re chapters of my life.

AI didn’t live those moments. I did.

Spotify’s new labels are meant to identify AI‑generated personas, not human artists who use technology as part of their workflow. My music is still written by a real person with real experiences, real emotions, and real fingerprints on every track.

Technology helps me create. Humanity drives the art.
