Several months ago, my employer made the decision to discontinue the use of corporate mobile phones and transition to exclusive communication through laptop applications. This change necessitated that I assume responsibility for my phone number and billing through my carrier, Verizon, with whom I had maintained a professional and personal relationship for 17 years.

Initially, incorporating a line into my personal account was manageable; however, I faced the challenge of losing unlimited data, which significantly affects my ability to listen to music in the car unless I utilize offline options. In January, Verizon informed us that the billing for our 2 GB data plan would increase by an additional $30 each month. This development was rather unfavorable.

Instead of suspending your access upon reaching the maximum limit, the system significantly reduces its speed, resulting in an experience reminiscent of internet connections from before the year 2000.

Over a recent long weekend, I thought about what my options were in order to be both affordable and functional for my lifestyle. Being that I work professionally in employee benefits, I began to explore if there were an option via our company discount program that might allow for what I was looking for in service and value.

It was then that I came across a company called Previ.

WHAT (OR WHO) IS PREVI?

Previ is a robust online payment network that empowers users to make payments directly from their paychecks. It seamlessly provides access to earnings, authorizes purchases, and delivers enticing cash back offers. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Alpine, Utah, Previ is redefining the way people manage their finances.

Previ.com now offers affordable internet and phone services through employer discount programs. These programs help employees access quality communication services at lower prices, making it easier to stay connected. By partnering with different employers, Previ.com uses bulk buying power to secure better deals that save employees money.

These discount programs help reduce the costs of internet and phone services, improving employee satisfaction and well-being. In our digital age, reliable communication tools are vital for productivity and connection. Previ.com is dedicated to making life easier for employees with affordable options, highlighting the value of accessible technology and promoting a supportive workplace culture that cares about employee needs and well-being.

Obviously, there has to be an employer-partner relationship for an individual to join Previ, but to learn more about this innovative company, check out their website at previ.com.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

In a nutshell, I’m excited to invest $99 a year for a membership in Previ, along with $52 monthly for 2 lines with T-Mobile (enjoying unlimited data, talk, and text). From my experience so far, I’ve encountered some of the best customer service I’ve ever had! As a frugal person, it truly feels like I’m their top priority, with them going above and beyond to ensure that my experience is nothing short of exceptional!

I understand that this experience is still new to me, and my thoughts may evolve over time; however, at this moment, my thinking is heading in the “what’s not to like” direction.
