Cottage cheese has a lot of fans for both its creamy texture and its low calorie count. We love cottage cheese recipes that mix it with various berries or use it instead of ricotta in hot dishes. But would we ever imagine it in a frozen dessert form? Apparently yes, as cottage cheese ice cream is the latest TikTok recipe trend. This new trend is taking a familiar ingredient and showing it a whole new kind of appreciation.

Fresh out of college, my wife and I decided to purchase our first car. Instead of studying up and realizing that a brand-new car depreciates greatly once it’s driven off the lot, we bought a new Nissan Sentra. Later when we had learned and grown and needed a dependable back-up car, we found a used Honda Civic with low miles for less than $3K. That was 8 or 9 years ago, and the Civic is in the garage still going strong at 180,000+ miles.
