Since we began Moteventure in 2021, we’ve added a number of regular features to the site periodically to attract readers who want to return several times a week (or several times a day!) to get the most up to date information we can provide. One of those features is what we call “Moteventurous #1’s”. We simply maintain a page of the top entries in music, movies, tv, sports, games, and books. Today, we highlight the current number ones in those categories with a short commentary as appropriate. Be sure to add your own thoughts in the comments below.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT?
Wishing it were closer than a few hours away, I’d still have to say that overall my favorite restaurant is “Northwestern Steakhouse” in Mason City, Iowa. It’s unassuming, the staff has always been welcoming and accommodating, and of course, the food is the best! Check out my prior “love letter” to the restaurant below:

THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE | DIGITAL SPY
Recipe for success? Create an animated film based upon an iconic video game, directly involve the game creator in the filmmaking, and then add a proven production company to make the movie critic-proof. Finally, release it on Easter weekend when kids are on vacation from school. Poof! Over $600 million in two weeks worldwide.
