MOTEVENTURE’S “THIS…OR THAT: STAR WARS VS. STAR TREK”

Like so many things in society today, there are loyal followers that will side with one option over another regardless of quality, authenticity, value, or rational thought (politics anyone?).

Do. Or Do Not. There is no try

Yoda

Such is the case of the movie franchise juggernauts “Star Trek” and “Star Wars”. Amongst my friends, colleagues, and family, you’re a fan of one or the other…or none at all.

Trekkies (or Trekkers if you prefer) are those so into the series (and its spin-offs, movies, and merchandise) that they attend conventions, are active members of a fan organization, and even have extremely expensive costumes for any party that might pop up.

Live long, and prosper.

Fans of the Star Wars universe are called simply…Star Wars fans. Since the acquisition of the property by Disney in 2012, the Star Wars universe has expanded greatly with the sequel trilogy, the explosion of Baby Yoda merch due to the popularity of the series “The Mandalorian”, as well as the new original series, “The Book of Boba Fett”.

So, do you consider yourself a Trekkie/Trekker or simply a fan of Star Wars?

May the force be with you.

Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, pretty much every cast member at some point

With those thoughts in mind, “This…or That?” this week we will unscientifically determine which blockbuster franchise is truly out of this world.

You simply choose your favorite and review the results. The best thanks you can give is to share our site with family and friends and subscribe below.
