This time of year, work can seem unending. Although we drive through it day by day, the impact on our energy level slowly takes it toll within all of us. With the holidays approaching, time becomes even more scarce to complete our goals. With ever-increasing technology, many of us are no longer truly disconnected from the workplace.

Vacation is an important opportunity to escape the trappings of day-to-day life and recharge our batteries. Even “getting away from it all” involves important decision making, with the obvious initial decision being exactly where to vacation at.

With that question in mind, we thought it would be an interesting topic for “This…or That?” this weekend.

We pre-determined two popular vacation destinations. Would you opt for a week at the beach in the sun and sand (particularly in January when temps are below zero), or would you cozy up to a fireplace blazing in a rustic mountain cabin, with snow gently falling and the slopes just a short drive away?
