I’m excited to share this new endeavor about creating adventures within your own workplace, and how to take an idea and inject excitement, motivation, engagement, and fun into your work week. Believe me when I say it can be done. I’ve done it many times myself over the past 8 years.
The events I’ve introduced into my own corporate environment have principally been used as charity fundraisers, but could easily be adapted to private events as well. My plan with my MotEVENTure blog is to take you as readers through the process of planning your event, presenting your plan to management, working with compliance and safety teams, marketing your event and creating buzz, as well as the actual execution of the event itself.
Along the way, I’ll share stories of game shows, live horses and pumpkin heads, life-size chess sets, and even an eight and half foot boa constrictor refugee from Hurricane Sandy.
