This November, I’m shining a spotlight on stories that uplift. Waypoints: 30 Days of Light is a daily series dedicated to moments of kindness, resilience, and quiet grace — stories that remind us how gratitude can shape a life, a community, or even a single day. From heartfelt gestures to unexpected blessings, each entry will explore the ways gratitude shows up in the world — not just as a feeling, but as a force. Coming November 7th, the flames climb even higher, as the Deluxe Edition of my album “Ignite the Fire” drops with four new tracks to keep it interesting!
“Flat Tire”, the first single from the expanded set, is already out and honestly is one of my favorite songs I’ve written on the entire album. “Home For Christmas” is tailor-made for radio in the next two months and I hope you share it and playlist it. I delve into Christian rock, a genre I hadn’t included on the original genre-spanning album, introducing a track called “What If You’re Wrong”, and finally present the full version of the instrumental opener, “Emberwake” for the first time on my deluxe set. Whether you’re chasing nostalgia or dancing through the dark, this release promises to light up November, December and beyond!
November Reactions: Prog Rock Deep Dives & Genre-Spanning Discoveries
This month, the needle drops into full prog mode. I’m diving headfirst into the cinematic soundscapes of classic progressive rock — with deep reactions to bands like Genesis, Yes, and more. But the journey doesn’t stop there. I’m also exploring iconic rock staples like Bad Company and The Rolling Stones, plus fresh releases from Morgan Wallen and Idles to keep things genre-fluid and emotionally charged.
