Television has a way of pulling us into worlds we never imagined, introducing us to characters we grow to love, and keeping us on the edge of our seats with their compelling stories and intricate plots. With today’s post, I wanted to share with you my list of 12 TV series I’ve recently watched and enjoyed a lot, each one leaving me wanting to share with you, my readers.

Whether it’s the grand historical drama unfolding on “1923” (the prequel to “Yellowstone”), the nostalgia of seeing Noah Wyle back in scrubs in the ER in “The Pitt”, or even the 48th go-around of strangers attempting to outwit, outplay and outlast all others on “Survivor”, each of my 12 picks today grabbed my attention immediately and never let up.

The Pitt

Plotline: The daily lives of healthcare professionals in a Pittsburgh hospital as they juggle personal crises, workplace politics, and the emotional toll of treating critically ill patients, revealing the resilience required in their noble calling. Where to Watch: Max. Why It’s Popular: In watching the show, it feels like a “years later” sequel to ER, with Carter now in charge of the Pitt’s ER department.

1923

Paramount+

Plotline: A prequel to the iconic “Yellowstone,” this series explores the trials and tribulations of the Dutton family during the early 20th century.
