It’s fascinating how even longtime music enthusiasts can stumble upon new and captivating artists and songs. Despite my enduring love for music, there are still a multitude of remarkable bands, singers, and tunes that have previously escaped my notice. Utilizing music reaction videos has opened up a whole new world of musical discovery, enriching my auditory experiences and broadening my musical horizons.

MAN IN A BOX – ALICE IN CHAINS
The depth conveyed in the lyrics surpasses the typical rock tune, adding a layer of ambiguity that captivates. The compelling combination of the gritty beat and guitar riffs is undeniably addictive.

#9
ZOMBIE – THE CRANBERRIES
I’d been familiar with their other successful songs like “Dreams” and “Linger,” but for some reason, I overlooked this enormous hit. It’s always valuable to discover great music, regardless of when it happens.

#8
TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON – BILLY JOEL
Although this song was temporarily blocked on YouTube for a month, the reaction has eventually approved, and it’s definitely worth watching and listening to. Billy Joel showcases what makes him legendary, and the AI video is truly stunning too.

#7
NOW AND THEN – THE BEATLES
No fans are as fiercely protective of their beloved subject as The Beatles’ fans. It appeared as though they overlooked the fact that I was unfamiliar with the song, and were quite sensitive about my assumptions, as any newcomer might be.

#6
ENTER SANDMAN – METALLICA
What an impressive piece of music! I have a faint recollection of our Iowa Hawkeyes entering the field to the pounding beat, although I cannot distinctly recall ever listening to the entire composition. It exudes energy and is a great addition to my workout playlist.

#5
HEROES – DAVID BOWIE
Perhaps I was too young to fully appreciate Bowie during his commercial peak. Now, as I’ve matured, I’ve come to realize that his voice and vision are not as unconventional as I once believed in my teenage years.

#4
LED ZEPPELIN – IMMIGRANT SONG
What an impressive piece by a legendary rock band. While I was familiar with many of their popular songs (“Stairway to Heaven” comes to mind), this Norse-inspired track was a new and captivating discovery.

#3
GIMME SHELTER – THE ROLLING STONES
From the selection of previously unheard songs, the Rolling Stones stand out as the group I am most acquainted with. This particular track, featuring a mesmerizing female vocal alongside Jagger’s distinctive swagger, continues to captivate listeners, even in 2024.

#2
HIGHWAY STAR – DEEP PURPLE
This track was a pleasant surprise. I was captivated from the initial play, and the guitar solo (as well as the organ solo) both showcase remarkable artistry. Give it a listen today!

#1
ROCK ‘N’ ROLL DAMNATION
That iconic sound of Australia’s premier band propels this single with unwavering intensity. The catchiness escalates steadily, culminating in the repeated line, “Damnation, they’re puttin’ you down, damnation, all over town.” Undoubtedly, it stands alongside “Back in Black” without a doubt.
