How would you like to participate in an experiment on the site with me tonight? Rather than have a pre-planned post to share with you, I thought I’d do a bit of Twitter-style rambling on whatever comes to mind, updating a number of times throughout the evening. Ooh, you’ll have to keep coming back!

So, off we go!

As work ended, I grabbed my gym bag, water and discussed take-out options for dinner.

Once at the gym, I did a lot of full-body kettle bell moves (goblet squats, overhead extensions, figure 8’s, swings, you get the idea), showered and headed out for dinner.

Placed an order for Fajita Quesadillas at one of our favorite local Mexican restaurants, Monterey. Good food and the place was packed like it were Friday night.

Picked up some bananas and chicken salad at our neighborhood Fareway grocery store and then headed home and ate. Stuffed now as I ate way too many nachos and salsa!

It’s a bit past 7pm, and we’re catching up on Season 13 of “Call the Midwife”.

Question. How can so many women be constantly pregnant? I know. It’s a show.

7:26 – I do love Sister Monica Joan.

7:33 – They definitely don’t shy away from the pain of giving birth!

7:45 – Trixie’s learning to drive. Very fancy car. She almost took out a lady with a pram (stroller)…and a cat!

7:55 – Fighting an urge to grab a Drumstick from the freezer.

8:05 – Stood strong…for 10 minutes. Mmm. That was good.

8:12 – Need to check on my work meetings tomorrow and knock down a bit more of the furnace we had to get last fall.

8:15 – Last walk of the night for Scamp, our Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Did one of my favorite walks, one I call “Country Club Square”, and now we’re back home.

8:44 – Reading up on how to determine which copper pipe down in the basement is the inlet vs. the outlet on our defunct Rainsoft Water Softener. Replacing it this weekend with a brand new Aquasure model!

9:06 – Getting the coffee maker ready for morning. Dunkin’ coffee in case you wonder. Not much of a Keurig guy here.

9:16 – Just realized “Survivor” is on tonight.

9:20 – Super late tip-off for the IOWA-UCONN game Friday night. 9:30ish is pretty crazy.

9:39 – Survivor Night 11

9:42 – Villains in my mind? Kenzie, Charlie, Venus, Moriah

9:51 – My faves? Q, Tiff, Tim, Ben

9:55 – My guess for soul survivor? Soda’s flying well under the radar.

10:05 – Just once in my life I would love to compete in an actual immunity challenge.

ROCKS!

10:11 – The challenge designers are so genius. Adding weight as you tire out.

10:16 – Oh the puzzles!

10:30 – Drama before tribal. Venus…or Mo?

10:42 – Not a surprising elimination.

10:44 – On to THE AMAZING RACE tomorrow!

10:53 – Watching our local news before bed. More wind tomorrow. Ugh.

11:03 – Time to check out new music on Spotify.

11:10- Almost forgot to log dinner into MY FITNESS PAL.

11:22 – Reading “Dark Mountain” by Preston & Child before bed.
