HERE IS THE NEWS!

My instincts would be to share the news with my loved ones and friends – obviously depending on what the news actually is.

Good news is rare these days, and every glittering ounce of it should be cherished and hoarded and worshipped and fondled like a priceless diamond.

For instance, if I’d won the lottery, conventional wisdom says to keep the news to yourself until you have a plan of action in place.

That would be my first blush reaction. Once I was over the elation and the “ shock and awe” of my good fortune, I’d realize the most important thing to do is to be grateful for the gift I’d been given with the news and thank those responsible as well as God.
