Oftentimes, becoming a lottery winner is a double-edged sword. For every inspirational story you read about someone whose life has been changed for the better, there are several additional stories that detail how winning the lottery led to financial ruin.
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.”
1 Timothy 6:10
Although I don’t consider myself an individual who “loves” money, I admit that I wouldn’t mind finding out what winning the lottery would do within my own life.

Now to the question at hand. Here are a small number of things I would do should I ever win millions!
PUT THE WINNING TICKET IN A SAFE PLACE & SIGN IT FIRST
TELL NO ONE
SPEND SOME OF MY WINDFALL HIRING COMPETENT & TRUSTWORTHY ADVISORS (LAWYERS, FINANCIAL ADVISORS, TAX ACCOUNTANTS, ETC.)
PLAN & DEVELOP A SOLID FINANCIAL PLAN OF INVESTMENT AND LONG-TERM GROWTH
VANISH FROM SOCIAL MEDIA
PAY OFF ALL DEBTS
CHANGE PHONE NUMBER AND MAYBE MOVE TOO
SHARE SOME WITH FAMILY & SELECT FRIENDS
CREATE A FOUNDATION, CHARITY OR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
TAKE A VACATION!

What steps have I forgotten? What would you do if you won the lottery? Share your thoughts in our comment section…if you’re still on social media!
