WHAT’S YOUR DREAM JOB?
I love photography (although I don’t think I’m good enough to be called a professional). I recall thinking it would be cool to be a meteorologist years ago, but not sure I’d be that captivating on camera. When I was teenager, I thought I’d make a great songwriter, but I unfortunately don’t know how to read music. So, I think I’d rather just be a personal manager for an independently wealthy man living in an amazingly tranquil location…that man being myself of course and as much as I love Iowa, I could do without the -26° windchill – thank you very much.

I tend to use intermittent fasting and MyFitnessPal to keep my appetite in check, but it’s amazing how many times cookies, ice cream, candy bars and the like show up under the “Snack” category each day!

Fascinating is the story of this 1940’s murder of couples oftentimes at lovers’ lane in a town on the border between Texas and Arkansas – violent crimes perpetrated by a shadowy figure dubbed “Phantom Killer” by local newspaper reporters.

WHERE CAN YOU REDUCE CLUTTER IN YOUR LIFE?
After the first of the year, we place a big box at the bottom of our basement stairs. During our daily routine, we’ll come across something we never use or is simply outdated, and we’ll put it in the box. Clothes, knick-knacks, toys, whatever. When the box is filled, we take it to Goodwill for donation.

TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER | MOTEVENTURE
This post from yesterday happened to pop up as a prompt just when I needed it. It had been a pretty hectic and frustrating week with work, and I was feeling a bit down on myself (with or without reason). Fortunately, the leader I report to has many of the characteristics I mention in the post down in spades. I finished the week with what I hope was closure, but we’ll see how next week goes!
