What are your two favorite things to wear?

March, 2020. That’s the point in time where my work wardrobe merged with my all-time favorite wardrobe…at least when it didn’t have a negative impact on my clients or my professional reputation.

Any guy who says they dress to the nines to work remotely is either a serious brown-noser or simply a liar. I find my productivity is directly linked to my comfort level while at my desk for 8+ hours. Although there are times an in-person meeting helps to convey a thought or idea directly, most times it’s just as simple to work via email or conference call, with an enhanced work-life balance as a welcomed bonus.

Most days, after jumping in and out of the shower, brushing my teeth and throwing some gel in my hair, I reach for a pair of cheap gray sweatpants and then slip a super soft tee (long sleeve in the winter) over my head, along with comfy ankle socks on my feet.

Since we’re talking tees…

God Bless Us, Everyone!

Stumbling down the stairs to my office, I hit the mouse to awaken my laptop for the day, then fill a mug with steaming black coffee (Dunkin), and then fire up Outlook to get my day going.

Before I know it, there have been many Zoom and Teams meetings, lots of emails both outgoing and incoming, lunch and dinner made and eaten, a certain Corgi entertained and walked numerous times, and some much-needed relaxation watching a series on Hulu (“One Tree Hill” currently), and soon I’m brushing my teeth again and hitting the hay for the night, only to rise and repeat the next morning.

Wearing a pair of sweats and a tee…as always.
