More US Presidents have been born in the month of October than any other month of the year. The Great Chicago Fire occurred on October 8th, 1871, destroying the city and leaving 100,000 people homeless. In October of 1927, “The Jazz Singer”, the first “talkie” full-length film featuring spoken dialogue opened in New York.

OCTOBER REFLECTION
Our special features and original content continued to engage our readers well during the month, with my story highlighting the funeral of a friend of a friend impacting our readers most. Two of our most recent video reactions (Alice in Chains and The Cranberries) actually ended with the same number of views this month! Lastly, my goal of eating more responsibility while laying out exactly what I did to get positive results for my efforts came in at #2. Now I wonder if anyone is doing the same plan?

I’m just finalizing the choice of our latest reaction video to post to our YouTube channel (hitting the early 90’s with a heavy metal classic that I’ve never heard); we’ll be spotlighting more of our newest followers, hitting the site with 2 entries in our novel “Relentless”, looking to update our online store with less costly but still quality merchandise, adding new entries to “This…or That” as well as “Our Ten – The Music Series”, and of course, sharing the best news and helpful information we can dig up!
