Although the novel is a long one (at over 1000 pages), the story is fully engrossing. It’s one you’ll read anywhere when you have a spare moment. Additionally, look for the 8-part miniseries (2010), which featured the likes of Ian McShane, Hayley Atwell, Matthew MacFadyen, Donald Sutherland, and Eddie Redmayne.
