Being a parent, there is nothing better than discovering a great story that engages your child in a life lesson while being entertaining and captivating as well. “Stellaluna” was just such a book for my daughter and I many years ago (she’s a Mom herself now). I can still see her face anticipating Stellaluna “flump”-ing into Mama Bird’s nest (Dad’s sound effects always scored big). A tale of acceptance that is pure magic.
