Back in 2003, actor Jim Carrey took on one of his finest roles, playing Bruce Nolan in the film “Bruce Almighty”. In the movie, his character was feeling ignored by God (Morgan Freeman) and blaming the “Almighty” for the misfortunes that happened his way on a regular basis.
After hearing Bruce complain one too many times about his recent setbacks in life, God decides to do the unimaginable. He literally endows Bruce with his divine powers coupled with the enormous responsibility of being creator of the Earth and keeping everyone on the planet happy.

As is the case in most Jim Carrey films, hilarity ensues.
Although I know the outcome of Bruce Nolan’s turn as God, I think to experience the ultimate perspective on history and the future would be nearly impossible to resist if given the chance.
SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND
What would I be most curious to know more about if I were God? Things that are profound, but also mysteries I’ve simply wondered about for years.
- What is heaven like?
- Who killed JonBenét Ramsey?
- Why do good people face trials and tribulations (or are they simply not as good as they appear)?
- Finding out the circumstances leading up to my parents’ deaths, and whether their premature end could have been prevented or delayed.
- Did a conspiracy happen with the assassination of John F. Kennedy?
- Definitively knowing who is righteous on a political scale and who is not (if that’s actually possible).
- What’s the purpose of evil?
- Learning the true origins of the Covid-19 pandemic and the background and truth regarding the vaccines.
- Does the world end, and when will that be?
- What day will I die and how?
Although some of those questions I wouldn’t necessarily want to honestly know the answer to (knowing the date and method of my own death would impact my ability to live the rest of my life without fear and anxiety), I still find them quite compelling.
I’d of course have to resist the temptation to invoke payback to others for their past sins against me, but I think I can ultimately forgive and forget. I’d definitely be a God of love.
I SAY UNTO YOU…NOW IT’S YOUR TURN
Meaning no disrespect to any belief system with my ultimate choice and method of writing for today’s post, but now I wonder who YOU would want to be if you could be that person for just one day? Share your thoughts in the comments!

One response to “ONE DAY ONLY: BEHOLD, THE CREATOR”
[…] unless I’m “Creator for a Day”, I have no real idea about the workings of fate and/or destiny. If I were to guess, I’d say […]
